Fire & Water - Cleanup & Restoration

How does water damage affect flooring?

The floor in this home was damaged by water from a pipe that broke. Water can affect flooring in different ways and are addressed by our certified and trained technicians.

Wood Floors - Because wood flooring can soak up a lot of water it can only be saved if mitigated quickly.

Tile Flooring - Because tile is non-porous, it is easy to clean and disinfect.

Laminate Floors - These floors will have to be replaced because they peel easily with water.

Linoleum Floor - This type of flooring can be saved as long as the water does not get underneath the linoleum. Once it penetrates the edges of the floor it will have to be replaced.
